The Metzeler Sportec M7 RR Rear M/C in size 190/55 R17 75W is one of our passenger car summer tyres.
As a summer tyre, the Sportec M7 RR Rear M/C is tuned for warm conditions: a firm tread compound and a pattern built for stable dry handling and short braking distances. On wet roads the grooves channel water away quickly to keep the contact patch working.

Reliable summer rubber
Fitted before a long road trip. Comfortable at motorway speeds and felt safe in heavy rain. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Good all-rounder
Had them fitted last month. Wet grip is confidence-inspiring and they look the part too. Grip in corners is reassuring and the steering feels a bit sharper than before.

Nice upgrade
Fuel consumption seems slightly better since the switch. Tyres themselves are great. Wet braking is excellent. Not the last word in steering feel.

Does exactly what a summer tyre should. Happy with the purchase. Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair. Nothing fancy, but fair for the price.
