The Alpine Sense Grip concept is an innovative combination of reliable grip on snow, slush, and wet while the handling remains balanced and easy to control. The tread design effectively removes water and slush from between the tire and the road while the tailored siping ensures excellent lateral and longitudinal grip.

The Alpine Grip rubber compound is designed to perform in a wide temperature range. Without compromising any winter properties of the tire, the wet performance elements have been further developed to meet the needs of milder conditions. The multifaceted Snow Claws between the tread blocks and in the shoulder areas provide balanced grip on ice and snow, particularly when braking and accelerating. The Brake Boosters do their part to improve the longitudinal grip. A strong, unifed rib offers excellent stability and steering response dominates the tire’s center region. The heavily siped tread blocks that connect to this sturdy rib improve braking and acceleration grip.

Worth the money
Comfortable over rough surfaces. My old set used to thump over every bump. Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in. Holds well in snow and slush.
