Primacy 5 – precise summer handling with short braking distances

Legal mentions:

(1) - wet braking performance - Wet braking new and worn: External tests conducted by TÜV SÜD Product Service, on Michelin's request, between 80-20 kph, in low grip conditions in July 2024, on dimension 205/55 R16 91V on VW Golf 8 (worn means when worn on machine (buffed) to the depth of Tread Wear Indicator according to European regulation: ECE R30r03f) comparing MICHELIN Primacy 5 (new: 100% - worn: 100%) versus Michelin Primacy 4+ (new: 91.4% new - worn: 99.2%).

(2) - wet braking performance - Worn means when worn on machine (buffed) to the depth of Tread Wear Indicator according to European regulation: ECE R30r03f. On new and worn 205/55 R16 91V MICHELIN Primacy 5 is above the R117 European regulation wet grip threshold.

(3) - longevity - External tests conducted by DEKRA TEST CENTER, on Michelin's request, in July 2024, on dimension 235/45 R18 98W&Y on Tesla Model 3 comparing MICHELIN Primacy 5 (100%) versus MICHELIN Primacy 4+ (82%).

Solid summer tyre
Fitted them at a mate's garage. Straightforward job and they've been faultless since. For this price I didn't expect much, but the Primacy 5 genuinely surprised me. No squirm even on hot asphalt. Nothing fancy, but fair for the price.
