The new Nokian Tyres Snowproof 2 SUV is a premium winter tire especially designed to meet the needs of sport utility vehicles and crossovers. The tire’s most important feature is outstanding winter safety in all conditions, resulting in excellent performance on snow, slush, and rain. The Snowproof 2 SUV offers more stability and durability for heavy vehicles due to an fine-tuned SUV structure.

The Alpine Sense Grip 2.0 offers superb winter performance especially on snow, slush, and wet. It consists of a new, V-shaped tread pattern, 3D siping and Alpine Grip 2.0 compound. The tread design effectively removes snow and slush from between the tire and the road while the tailored, 3D siping guarantees superb lateral and longitudinal grip. The Alpine Grip 2.0 compound tackles the demanding and cold winter conditions, while offering superb performance in milder weather. The new compound also comes with high silica content, which results in a better

wet grip. The rolling resistance is also at a premium level, which generates energy savings and reduces harmful emissions.

To provide maximum comfort and rst-class safety, the tread area of the tire is divided into two functional zones. The Dual Zone Safety concept consists of the Grip Zone, which guarantees impressive winter grip, and the Handling Zone, which offers control and stability. The durability of Snowproof 2 SUV is maximized thanks to Nokian Tyres’ unique Aramid Strong Sidewalls that offer protection for demanding driving conditions. The strong aramid fiber brings extra protection against impacts, cuts, and potholes plus more carefree moments behind the wheel.

A special new innovation is the SilentDrive™ Technology. The exceptionally low sound levels are achieved by adding a layer of acoustic foam on the inner liner of the tire. The SilentDrive™ Technology is included in selected SUV sizes.

Better than expected
Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in. Ordered online, fitted locally. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.
