Hankook has achieved the lower rolling resistance of the Winter i*cept evo 4 through an fine-tuned vulcanisation temperature and silica distribution. This results in both lower fuel consumption and improved driving stability. Furthermore, rolling noise has been significantly lower, which further enhances Driving comfort. This was achieved through a thoroughly redesigned tread featuring diagonally cut tread blocks and a revised central groove design.

The advanced tread geometry of the Winter i*cept evo 4 guarantees superior safety on winter roads: the fine-tuned tread pattern improves braking performance on snow and contributes to stable traction in adverse conditions.

With Winter tyres, the tread plays a particularly important role, as the rubber compound is softer. This allows a larger contact area between the tread and the road surface to reduce wear, which Hankook’s engineers have specifically utilised to increase mileage compared to the previous model.
