With the TS 800, Continental has been able to use the further development of tried-and-tested concepts to improve handling properties on dry roads and driving properties on wintery surfaces. This is possible by enlarging the familiar honeycomb sipes, which are now designed for additional rigidity on dry roads and greater grip on snow.

Quality you can feel
Good value, though the sidewall is softer than my previous set. For this price I didn't expect much, but the WinterContact TS 800 genuinely surprised me. Proper grip on packed snow, no wheelspin drama.

Not the grippiest in hard cornering, but for normal driving they're more than adequate. Good balance of comfort and handling. Holds well in snow and slush.
