The SP Winter Sport 3D incorporates three types of sipe in its tread design, thus ensuring superb grip at any time in snowy, icy and wet conditions: The high-amplitude sipe gives enhanced lateral stability and control on snow. The 'pulling' sipe ensures high traction and braking power on snow and ice. The 3D shoulder sipe is self-supporting and the technical highlight of the SP Winter Sport 3D. The sipe opens for high grip levels on snow and ice, while it closes slowly at higher speeds on wet and dry driving surfaces, allowing it to use its self-supporting effect to achieve extremely good driving stability.

This tyre has emergency running properties and can only be used on cars with a functioning air pressure check system.
