As a summer tyre, the Ecsta PS71 is tuned for warm conditions: a firm tread compound and a pattern built for stable dry handling and short braking distances. On wet roads the grooves channel water away quickly to keep the contact patch working.

Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres. Fine for the price. No squirm even on hot asphalt. Not the last word in steering feel.
