The Kumho Portran KC53 in size 235/55 R18 104H is one of our passenger car summer tyres.

As a summer tyre, the Portran KC53 is tuned for warm conditions: a firm tread compound and a pattern built for stable dry handling and short braking distances. On wet roads the grooves channel water away quickly to keep the contact patch working.

Fitted and forgotten
Put these on two months ago and the car feels noticeably more planted. The Portran KC53 grips well on dry roads.

Fine tyre, minor niggles
Steering response improved straight away after fitting. Very pleased. Switched from a budget brand to the Portran KC53 — the difference in braking is obvious. Could be a touch quieter on rough tarmac.
