The Bridgestone Turanza ECO in size 235/55 R19 101T is one of our passenger car summer tyres.

As a summer tyre, the Turanza ECO is tuned for warm conditions: a firm tread compound and a pattern built for stable dry handling and short braking distances. On wet roads the grooves channel water away quickly to keep the contact patch working.

Fitted and forgotten
Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres.

Good, not perfect
Decent grip dry and wet, but they took a few hundred km to feel bedded in. Good value, though the sidewall is softer than my previous set.

Does what it says
Steering response improved straight away after fitting. Very pleased. Not the grippiest in hard cornering, but for normal driving they're more than adequate. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

Braking feels secure
Handles standing water better than my previous set. Feel much safer in autumn rain. For this price I didn't expect much, but the Turanza ECO genuinely surprised me.
