The Matador Hectorra 5 in size 235/60 R18 107W is one of our passenger car summer tyres.

As a summer tyre, the Hectorra 5 is tuned for warm conditions: a firm tread compound and a pattern built for stable dry handling and short braking distances. On wet roads the grooves channel water away quickly to keep the contact patch working.

Good, not perfect
Wet braking is excellent. Gave me real confidence on a flooded motorway stretch. No squirm even on hot asphalt. Nothing fancy, but fair for the price.
