As a summer tyre, the TW401 is tuned for warm conditions: a firm tread compound and a pattern built for stable dry handling and short braking distances. On wet roads the grooves channel water away quickly to keep the contact patch working.

Decent for the price
Braking in the wet feels a touch longer than my old premium set, but at this price it's fair. Put these on two months ago and the car feels noticeably more planted. No squirm even on hot asphalt. Not the last word in steering feel.
