As a summer tyre, the Competus H/P 2 is tuned for warm conditions: a firm tread compound and a pattern built for stable dry handling and short braking distances. On wet roads the grooves channel water away quickly to keep the contact patch working.

Fine tyre, minor niggles
Third car I've run on Lassa. Consistent quality every time. Brakes hard and straight, no pulling. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

Solid choice
Brakes hard and straight, no pulling. Very reassuring. Grip in corners is reassuring and the steering feels a bit sharper than before. Stable and precise in summer heat.

Handles standing water better than my previous set. Feel much safer in autumn rain. Brakes hard and straight, no pulling. Not the last word in steering feel.
