The Turanza T005 is designed to help keep control even under difficult driving conditions. The tyre offers first-class braking and cornering characteristics even on rainy days, combined with high mileage.
Optimized pattern design:
High volume slots in shoulder enhance water flow and fine-tuned distribution of void in centre part of the pattern ensures water drainage in centre contact. Increased resistance to deformation thanks to connections between shoulder blocks ensuring an even contact on shoulders while braking.
Improved carcass:
The unique steel and stiff polyester reinforcement guarantee a superior handling and a reduced rolling resistance in order to reduce CO2 emissions and fuel consumption.
New compound mixing technology:
New mixing technology improves silica dispersion in Nano Pro-tech™ high silica content compound.Synergy of pattern & compound maximises adhesion in the footprint to enhance wet grip.

Solid summer tyre
Ordered online, fitted locally. The tyres themselves have been faultless so far. Switched from a budget brand to the Turanza T 005 — the difference in braking is obvious. No squirm even on hot asphalt.

Great on the motorway
Put these on two months ago and the car feels noticeably more planted. The Turanza T 005 grips well on dry roads. Grip when pulling away on wet junctions is much better than my old tyres.
